At World Research Union, we make a deliberate and principled distinction between conference proceedings and journal publications. Conferences are dynamic forums for the presentation, discussion, and dissemination of emerging research — environments where ideas collide, evolve, and inspire. Journals, by contrast, serve collaborative and longitudinal research that demands rigorous iterative review over time. WRU respects this distinction completely. We do not associate our conferences with journals; we associate exclusively with proceedings partners. Our proceedings heritage includes IEEE and AIP, and this legacy of academic integrity will be maintained across all future WRU conferences
WRU-QAF is being developed as an open quality protocol — an international benchmark that external conferences can apply for, be audited against, and publicly certified. Conferences meeting WRU-QAF standards will be authorised to carry the official WRU-QAF Certified badge, signalling to researchers and institutions worldwide that quality is curated, integrity is protected, and impact is prioritised. There is NO fee or hidden cost, just that Conferences has to comply certain high standards.
