World Research Union empowers researchers worldwide through Postdoctoral Fellowships, collaborative grants, and institutional partnerships. Fellowships are conducted jointly with globally recognised universities under a structured dual-supervision model. Two programmes are currently active — with Jesselton University College (JUC) and Spectrum International University College (SIUC), Malaysia.
All 17 Round 1 fellows have been assigned Principal and Co-Supervisors and are actively progressing their research toward thesis and Scopus-indexed publication submission.
Spectrum International University College's Round 1 cohort has been announced, with Co-Supervisors assigned from WRU's international network. SIUC applications remain open year-round for future rounds.
WRU facilitates Postdoctoral Fellowships through partnerships with recognised universities. Each university operates its own programme with specific eligibility criteria, research requirements, and supervision structures. Select a university below to view its programme details.
The WRU Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme (PDF) is a structured research opportunity conducted jointly with internationally recognised universities. Each fellow is guided by a Principal Supervisor at the host university and an international Co-Supervisor who serves as the primary research contact.

Upon successful completion, fellows receive formal certification from their host university — including convocation for JUC fellows, per each university's own procedures.
The WRU Research Hub is expanding. In addition to Postdoctoral Fellowships, WRU will offer research grants, collaboration calls, funded project opportunities, and joint publication initiatives.
